The Lao Football Federation (LFF), established in 1951, is the football’s governing body in Laos who became an affiliated member of FIFA in 1952, AFC in 1968 and AFF in 1996. The LFF is responsible for the Lao national football teams at all levels as well as domestic competitions like the Lao League 1, Lao League 2, FA Cup and youth competitions for boys and girls. Women’s football has also grown in popularity with more female participation in local competitions. On the other hand, the LFF has also priority grassroots football by organizing grassroots activities in every province annually.
